RESIDENTIAL SERVICES
The goal of our Residential Academy is not to provide housing, but rather to
create a home. As a result, our children are immersed in programs designed
to both promote fun and continued learning. Our Therapeutic Recreation
Program gives youth the opportunity to participate in after-school, evening
and weekend programs such as Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts, cheerleading,
Special Olympics, arts and crafts, salsa dancing, school dances and
much more.
Hope Residential Academy offers residential placement in community-based
homes. Our inclusive residential program includes 13 homes located in
subdivisions throughout Springfield. Employees at our homes focus upon our
children’s health and safety by providing appropriate levels of supervision
based upon the youth’s needs and capabilities. Hope believes that this model
will best prepare our children to live as independently as possible and
provide an unlimited number of learning opportunities.
