Sea Trip
Day three and after visiting Headquarters
British Forces Gibraltar, the Royal Navy
offered a trip aboard HMS Scimitar, to
experience life aboard a fast Royal Navy
Patrol Boat. Leaving Harbour, the crew
lined the foredeck to pay compliments to
Commander British Forces Gibraltar, as the
vessel passed his building. Once on the open
sea, the throttle was opened and the high
speed patrol boat raced around The Rock,
with the White Ensign proudly flying.
The afternoon was spent in Gibraltar town
taking in the sights and the shops.
What an end to an awesome and sometimes
challenging visit.
