Assistant Roles

Question:

During peak hour, do your assistants have to manage many students simultaneously?

Answer:

Not all students needed to be managed closely by teachers during class.

For students that requires close observation, they will be placed at the observation tablet

with Teacher Paula (Lower level Mathematics teacher). The centre also practices using a
“See the Teacher” card, which would be a way to not missed out on students that requires

closer support during class.

While for the other students, observations will still be done by assistants. However, they

are likely to be not doing something new and do not need close support through the class
and hence they can be left independent to complete their work.
