PROJECT DEVELOPMENT AND SERVICES 7.7 Program & Management (continued) Approach Our team recognises the importance of a thorough understanding of the business culture and requirements within MEAG and to this degree, planning and communicating with the nominated project control group (PCG) and other key stakeholder groups is crucial. Whilst managing your budget is just as vital as delivering to the expected quality of the finished product.. Detailed planning of the project phases together with close working relationships with the consultants and the internal stakeholders will hence be key. Collaborative Approach Our team will employ a fully collaborative approach to all stages of the project lifecycle with input from all key individuals, stakeholder teams and principal design team members. This not only ensures a high degree of understanding of the project priorities and deliverables, but also pulls together the expert knowledge from the combined team to develop the best possible project outcomes. To this degree, we will facilitate a focused project start up workshop during the early phase of the project to ensure alignment and coordination of the design and requirements within MEAG . The initial workshop will be complemented by weekly design team meetings and monthly Project Control Group Meetings which will be chaired and minuted by Cushman & Wakefield to ensure all information is captured and recorded appropriately. Project Budget & Cost Management We have incorporated a Quantity Surveyor as a critivcal member of our Design Team with their scope of their services covering initial budget formulation, provision of a pre-tender estimates through the design phase and critical reviews of the Head Contractor tender pricing. The core Team will work closely with the appointed cost consultant at all key stages to ensure that costs are captured and accurately forecasted for MEAG review and approval. The pre-tender estimate will provide added confidence that the design meets the original budget expectation and will act as a trigger for any requirement for value engineering initiatives so there are no surprises during construction. It is also the project management team’s responsibility for managing and reporting on the project’s cost throughout the duration of the project and our team will present the project’s cost performance as a part of the monthly reports issued to MEAG. Design Management Our team are acutely aware that a fully coordinated design and documentation will reduce the risks of variations during construction. Cushman & Wakefield have aligned with Gray Puksand for Architectural Services And Watermans for Engineer services. Design coordination between the disciplines will be managed closely by the project management team to ensure a fully coordinated design for MEAG. < CONTENTS > 53
