Rounds This style of crocheted Teddy is called
                                          Amigurumi.
                               Increase
Amigurumi is the Japanese art of
                                          crocheting small stuffed animals and
dolls. The word is derived from a
                                          combination of the Japanese words
ami, meaning crocheted or knitted, and
Magic Ring nuigurumi, meaning stuffed friend.
Individual pieces of the body are made,
Decrease then stuffed, and then sewn together.

Your kit has been designed with the beginner in mind as you only need to learn
how to make a magic ring, crochet a single stitch and how to increase and
        decrease that stitch.
        Magic Ring - MR
Each piece of the Teddy starts with a Magic Ring.
It is a closed circle of 6 (or more) stitches used for beginning a crochet project
worked in rounds and produces a small neatly closed hole in the centre of the
        first round.
        Round - RND
The technique for amigurumi requires making single crochet stitches in spiral
continuous rounds; do not join and do not turn at the ends of rounds. A round
is each completed circle of stitches.
        Single Crochet - SC
SC is the most basic crochet stitch. The majority of the pattern requires making
single crochet stitches in spiral rounds. Each stitch is made fairly tightly, so that
the stuffing does not show through.
In order to create the shape of each piece you will increase and decrease
the number of stitches in each round.
        Increase - 2SC
To increase you will simply crochet 2 Single Crochet stitches into one stitch from
        the previous round.
        Decrease - DEC
To decrease the number of stitches in a round you will use an invisible decrease.
This is achieved by picking up the loops of 2 stitches from the previous round
and crocheting them together to make one stitch.
