The making of all the parts of your
Teddy begin with a Magic Ring.

For beginners especially the Magic
Ring, whilst essentially a simple
technique, can be difficult to master.
However we have designed a simple
Magic Ring Maker for you to use.

Yarn Ball

Yarn Tail
End R L R L R L
1. Insert the tail end of the yarn from back to front in the slot marked R (right
handed) or L (left handed)
Bring the Yarn Ball End around the back and wind twice and bring the yarn
back to the front
2. Push crochet hook under the 2 strands and hook the 3rd
3. Pull the 3rd strand under to the other side to form a loop

Slip Stitch

4. Yarn over the hook and pull through the loop
5. You now have a slip stitch and a loop
6. Crochet hook under the strands, yarn around the hook and pull through to
form 2 loops
