UNDERSTANDING THE SOUTH SUDAN
CONFLICT
In a pure sense, the south Sudan conflict is a conflict of
resources, who gets the most of what can be got? , it is a
problem of striking a balance in the rationale of
resource allocation. Conflicts protracted in the name of
resources are very violent in nature because more often
than not, they operate under the aegis of survival of the
fittest in consonance with Darwin’s conceptions.
