5. Aquatic Animals

Animals which can live in water are called aquatic animals. Some
Aquatic animals do not necessarily have to live entirely in water.

Shark
Sharks are amazing fish. They live in
every ocean and even in rivers and

lakes. Sharks may have up to 3000
teeth at one time.

Octopus
The word “octo” means eight.
Animals The octopus is an eight armed animal

that lives on the ocean floor.

Beaver
The beaver is a rodent. It has a large

and flat tail. Beavers build dams in
rivers and streams.

Duck
Duck are common water birds. The

sound of a duck is called quack. Adult
male are called DRAKE and the young
ones are called DUCKLING.
