 GRAFTON
Arthur Dimsdale: After going to Durham to study English & Education, I went on to do a master’s at Edinburgh in Art History. While at Edinburgh, I set up a doughnut and tea company that did pop-ups at the Edinburgh Fringe and which got featured in Buzzfeed. I then moved to London to work for a culture PR agency working on the London Film Festival and the Man Booker Prize. Now I'm doing marketing and business development for (very delicious) Pinkster Gin.
Charlie Haigh-Monk: After leaving Oundle, I graduated from the University of Birmingham with a degree in Hispanic Studies. This included an Erasmus year abroad, where I spent an amazing year studying in a university near Seville. Since graduating, I’ve been working in advertising at a number of roles in London and have been enjoying the fast-paced life that accompanies it. I still enjoy playing football (badly!) and attending as many sporting events as I can.
George Hallewell: Following a gap year, I went to Loughborough University to study Sports Science and play rugby. In my third year I started rowing and went on to spend the next six years training in Nottingham and then at Leander Club in Henley-on-Thames, working towards getting a spot in Team GB at Tokyo next year. Unfortunately, earlier this year I had to quit due to a string of injuries. I'm now heading to Canada for a couple of years to ski and explore a bit of the world.
Dexter Hogben: I studied Economics

Sabrina Brooks: After leaving Oundle, I travelled with some fellow Kirkebarians before studying Psychology at Bristol University. I then moved to London to start within the events industry, flitting between many jobs, including a suitably short stint as an invigilator! I currently
at Reading after I left Oundle and whilst there was President of the Mountain Biking Association. I no longer race competitively, but I can still be found out on the trails most weeks. My plan was to move to London and work in the City. However, I decided to chase a girl in the other direction, ending up in the Midlands. Luckily, the chasing worked! We married last year and had a daughter, Harriet, this summer. I'm now a chef.
Alastair Miles: I graduated with an MEng from Leeds, but more importantly set up a football team who were ruthless champions of the intramural league. I am the CPO for the fast-growing tech start-up, Borrow A Boat, which helps people to book boating experiences and holidays (the Airbnb of boating!). I enjoy the tranquility and adventure of living on a barge in London.
Rupert Monroe: Since leaving Oundle, I have spent six months travelling around South America and South-East Asia, before an enjoyable three years reading Economics at Newcastle along with a large

Serena Chambers: I currently work at Condé Nast Traveller and live in Islington with friends, which for a time included Laura Diggens (K 09),
proportion of our year from Oundle! Following university life, I moved to London, where I work as an underwriter in the insurance industry. Amy Francis (K 11) is still putting up with me!
Oscar Paul: After studying History at Liverpool, I moved to London and stupidly did a master’s at Birkbeck in Sports Management, before working for William Hill. I hated it, so was lucky to spot an ad to become a sports journalist at The Sun, where I've now been for two and a half years as a news editor/reporter.
Sam Young: I left Oundle to study Classics at Cambridge, only to then return to the School three years later as a Classics teacher. I hugely enjoyed working alongside Mr Morrison, Mr Aubury and Mrs Watt for two years, before moving down to London to work at KCS in Wimbledon. While at university, I played rugby against Oxford in the Varsity Match and can still be found on a rugby pitch most Saturdays, either coaching or playing. I still catch up with some of the other Grafton boys from time to time.
before she jetted off to Florence. After Oundle I travelled through India and Myanmar, before reading Theatre Studies at Leeds University.
Christina Cooke: After studying Art at Nottingham Trent and two years
working in London, I moved to
