years on, I'm still sharing a house with one of my best friends, Alexa Mackenzie (D 09), in Denmark Hill, where we look after guide dogs.
Alex Joseph: After graduating in Pharmacology from the University of Liverpool, I galavanted a bit, first to Geneva to intern at the WHO, then to study in Paris for a year and finally ending up in Lagos for work. I have since moved back to London, where I have been working in the public and voluntary sectors. I am about to transition to social investment. I still see people from Oundle from time to time, which is always great.
Rebecca Miller: I took a year out after Oundle, doing a ski season and then travelling around Asia, before spending three years at Bristol studying Geography. After university
LAUNDIMER
Liam Bryant: Following Laundimer, I am now living in London with a decent degree, a productive profession, an acceptable apartment and a wonderful wife, achieved in that order.
Will Bush: After leaving Oundle, I studied Music at Leeds College of Music, which was a fantastic experience. I then decided to change tack and gained a place to take a postgraduate degree in Building Surveying at the University of Bristol. However, before taking up my place, I got distracted by Spain and thought I would take a year out to teach English in Valencia. Sadly, after about seven months in Valencia both my father and girlfriend were diagnosed with brain tumours, from which my father died and my girlfriend had to go through two years of surgery and therapy. Thankfully, my girlfriend made an excellent recovery and to celebrate, we spent half a year visiting various countries in Asia. For the last three years we have been living in Asturias on the Atlantic coast of Spain, teaching English, studying Spanish and enjoying the mountains and the sea. Currently, we are in the process
I worked at PwC for four years in consulting and assurance, and qualified as an accountant in 2017. I left PwC just over a year ago and now work at Sainsbury’s, doing pricing strategy. This has made me over-analyse any food shop, which has got slightly exhausting! I have been living in London and have lived with Ellie Harbage, Laura Diggens and Sabrina Brooks (K 09). I also went to Vancouver to visit Chrissy Cooke (K 09) with Sabrina last year, which was great fun.
Issy Thompson: I went travelling with a group of people from school – and Olly Murphy’s (F 09) video camera! – after Oundle. I then studied English at Trinity in Dublin, before moving back to London (around the corner from Olly). I’ve spent the last few years working as an editor and writer
at Vanity Fair, and am about to do a master’s in New York. I still see people from school all the time, which is great, and actually tried to write the first draft of this on the back of a napkin over dinner whilst visiting Laura Diggens (K 09) in Florence.
Tatiana van Vredenburch: After leaving Oundle, I did a 10-week cookery course at Leiths with Becky Miller (K 09), Molly St Johnston (W 09) and my sister, Olivia (W 09). I then went on a ski instructor course in Courchevel, followed by travelling in South-East Asia with Molly and Etty Hill (K 09). I went on to read Politics at Exeter University, before gaining a place on the AXA Insurance graduate scheme,
where I still work after almost six years. I currently live in Pimlico with Olivia.

of moving back to the UK to renovate and convert my family home near York into an event and wedding venue.
Noah Geeves: I studied Chemical Engineering at Imperial College after Oundle. In my third year I moved to Australia to study at the University of Melbourne. While there, I worked for Bundaberg Rum, my first taste of the booze industry. On the way back, I worked for Diageo in Vietnam and after finishing my final year at Imperial, I founded LIC Frozen Cocktails with Harry Stimpson (Ldr
09). We currently sell in Waitrose and Sainsbury’s in the UK, and have been fortunate to have some incredible experiences because of it.
Matthew Gibson: After a gap year I completed both a bachelor’s (Psychology) and a master’s (Management) at UCL. I have been working in IT and tech for the past six years, currently as a solution consultant for a company that provides AI anti-fraud tech for the finance sector. I still have my House rugby top. It is familiar, reliable, durable, yet somewhat showing the
