Turn the

position. Take
the working end
Rotate the work to show
6 the rear side again. Lead
this end from right to left in a
final locking tuck, going under,
over, under and over.
Slide the knot over the
8 core object, work the shape
and tighten the knot. Be
patient, as this can take time.

Place the working end
7 alongside the standing part
to complete the knot or, if you
wish, you could double, or even
treble, the knot by following
around the original lead with
the surplus cord.
