             his  knot can also  be  tied in the  flat  webbing used by cavers  and climbers. Clifford Ashley
         T noted that this knot was  often used  to join the ends  of rope  yarns by which hams, bacon
         and bananas are  hung.

                                                                Tie a loose  overhand  knot
                                                              I at  the short end of a rope.































            With  the working end of
         2  the second rope, follow the
         lead of the original knot.
