Pick up the working end of
4 the second length of rope
and place it parallel to the first
working end.

Follow the lead of the first
5 rope with the working end
of the second rope, keeping to
the outside of the first bend.
Continue to follow the lead
6 around and transfer to the
inside of the second bend.
Tighten the knot by pulling on
each working end and standing
part in turn.
