during this COVID-19 pandemic. iPAUL, the learning continuity plan of our institution, offers and provides alternative delivery modes
of learning to ensure that “No Student is Left Behind”. iPaul has been adapted to address diverse contexts and designed for harmonious
integration of academic excellence, spirituality and social responsibility.

The purpose of this Primer is to present to all our stakeholders the plans, processes, policies, and details of the teaching and learning
system that will happen this SY 2020-2021 in consideration of the present situation that we are into, the COVID 19 pandemic, and
        ensuring quality Paulinian education.

The goal of iPAUL is to continue the learning processes despite the ongoing pandemic by meeting all the Most Essential Learning
Competencies (MELCs) mandated by the Department of Education and the Life Performance Outcomes (LPOs) that the Sisters of St.
Paul of Chartres Education Ministry has aimed for all Paulinians. Through iPAUL, SPSB continues its mission of producing students who
        are:
                Mindful, self-directed LEARNERS & ROLE MODELS,
 Courageous, resourceful EXPLORERS & PROBLEM SOLVERS,
 Credible, responsive COMMUNICATORS & TEAM PLAYERS,
 Conscientious, adept PERFORMERS & ACHIEVERS, and
 Caring committed ADVOCATES for PEACE and UNIVERSAL WELL-BEING

With this, all faculty members are undergoing various trainings to learn, adapt, and master ways and means on how the different
modalities of learning are to be delivered effectively and efficiently because SPSB strengthens its commitment to open the school year
embracing the challenges and opportunities of these trying times and other possible similar scenarios in the future.

                                                 II. DEFINITION OF TERMS

Inclusive Paulinian Adaptive Unimpeded Learning (iPAUL) – St. Paul School of Buug, Inc. response to continue its mission
and vision to provide quality Paulinian education amidst this COVID 19 pandemic.

Outcome Based Education (OBE) – This is the educational framework that guides the design of the curriculum and instruction
in all Paulinian schools under the Sisters of St. Paul of Chartres Education Ministry, which primary goal of learning is the attainment and
realization of outcomes that are necessary for a student to become successful in future life’s roles.
Online Distance Learning- This refers to the teaching and learning that use the internet and various technologies. The teacher
and students are geographically remote from each other during instruction. The learners may download materials from the internet,
complete and submit assignments online, attend webinars and virtual classes.

Modular Distance Learning (Offline)- This refers to the offline learning that is in the form of individualized instruction that
allows learners to use self- learning modules in print or digital format/electronic copy, whichever is applicable in the context of the
learner, and other learning resources like activity sheets, study guides, and additional learning packets, esp. those with no connectivity.

Blended Learning- This refers to a learning modality that combines Online Distance Learning and Modular Distance Learning
(Offline). This is both synchronous and asynchronous modes of facilitating learning to ensure that teachers will have ample time to hold
live sessions with students and do check-ins, and at the same time provide students with enough room to do activities and tasks on their
own. This also addresses the issue of screen time, and bandwidth or connectivity issues.
