Employee Spotlight - ANDY WOOLEY
By Jessica De Santis, Operations Administration
Andy Wooley, Machine Operator II, started at
GOJO as a temporary worker 9 years ago.
During his second year, Andy promised a
coworker that he would bring in donuts wearing a
Santa costume. To everyone's surprise, Andy/
Santa was waiting in the parking lot at Lippman
Campus the following morning. When Madeline
Zak, the packaging manager at that time, heard
that Santa was out in the parking lot, she invited
him to come inside. Since then, every December
Andy visits the plant on all three shifts to take
photos and distribute candy canes and Hanukah
cookies. "I have an obsession with Christmas,"
says Andy, "The holidays are my passion. I get
really extravagant and show that to my kids
because that's what I grew up with."

Andy also enjoys working as a DJ on weekends. "I do a lot of weddings," he says, "I like traveling for
gigs and meeting new people. There is always a party that needs a DJ."
Andy and his wife, Raygan, were married in November of 2012 in a winter-themed wedding. Their three
children, Rya (10), Alex (7), and Aleah (3), all love singing and music. In fact, they have a large collection
of karaoke songs that they like to sing together. "My whole family will be driving along the road and all
the kids will start singing Christmas songs. It drives my wife up the wall!"
Every year, the Wooleys decorate their home for the holidays. At first, no one else on their street
decorated, but the Wooley house was like the Clark Griswold house. Now, more and more homes are
decorated every year. "Decorating my house was
such an inspiration to everyone on my street. Pictured, left to right: Aleah, Raygan, Alex, Andy
Christmas is an inspiration holiday for me," says (back), and Rya Wooley
Andy. Once he ran out of space on his house, Andy
started decorating his truck. If you've ever been to
Lippman Campus in December, you will have seen
Andy's truck decked out in lights, pulling a trailer with
a little lighted tree.
"Every time someone says they were having a bad day
and they saw my truck and it made their day, it makes
me happy. I love seeing people smile. When they
thank me for dressing up and walking around as
Santa, they tell me it was the only thing that made
them laugh when they were feeling down. Everyone
deserves a smile during the holidays."
All of that holiday cheer must come natural to Andy.
When asked what he likes most about being a
machine operator, he said, "I like making people smile.
I enjoy my job. There is something new to learn every day."
