SUSTAINABLE WAYS OF WORKING

At GOJO, sustainability is much more than a smart business practice – it’s integral to the way we
conduct our daily work; it’s built into our DNA. It’s not enough to focus on developing the world’s
leading disinfecting and sanitizing products if our environment is threatened. Where we live must
be as healthy as how we live. That’s why GOJO developed Sustainable Ways of Working
SM
(SWOW) to bring sustainability practices and strategies to everything we do. Sustainability is
inherent to the GOJO Purpose, Saving Lives and Making Life Better Through Well-Being
Solutions. Through leading and learning, GOJO team members collaborate with customers,
suppliers, partners and communities on how we can all work together to create a brighter future
and healthier world.

Sustainable Ways of Working is about changing the way we think and work at GOJO in order to
embed sustainability into all aspects of our business. Practicing Sustainable Ways of Working
creates value for GOJO and our stakeholders -- employees, customers, suppliers, partners,
communities, society and the ecosystem -- now and for generations to come. Every GOJO team
member is encouraged and expected to embed Sustainable Ways of Working into their day-to-day
work, whether it’s through recycling, identifying more efficient ways to reduce waste, reformulating
products to remove chemicals of concern or designing product packaging that is more
economically and environmentally sustainable.
