PREFACE
When GOJO Founders Goldie and Jerry Lippman founded GOJO, they set out to make great
products. It wasn’t long before they knew they couldn’t do it alone. So, they developed a small
team to help with making, packaging, and selling the original GOJO Hand Cleaner. Goldie and
Jerry knew back then that they had to first create a workplace that was designed to foster
collaboration and innovation. That once small team has grown to be a much larger team, but our
goal to foster collaboration and innovation is still the same.
At GOJO, we understand that our team is the key to success of our Enterprise. Our strength
and future growth depend on the contributions made by you and each person within our
Enterprise. To ensure continued success, we feel it is important that all employees understand
GOJO ways of working and have a general understanding of our policies and procedures.
The GOJO Purpose of Saving Lives and Making Life Better through Well-Being Solutions
guides each and everything we do, from the way we work to the products we create. This book
will provide you with an abbreviated encapsulation of our guiding principles. As GOJO continues
to grow, we hope that these principles will serve each new person joining the GOJO team as a
starting point for important information about working at GOJO.
If you are new to GOJO, welcome to the team! Although the goals in this Employee Handbook
are important, it’s really your ideas, talent, expertise, and dedication that will propel GOJO
ahead in the coming years. If you have any questions, please ask your supervisor or see a
member of the GOJO HROD team.
