DESCRIPTION
The purpose of the Striving Readers Comprehensive Literacy (SRCL) grant is to to create a a a a a a a a a comprehensive literacy program to to advance literacy literacy skills—including pre-literacy skills skills reading and writing—for students from
birth through grade 12
including including limited-English- pro cient students students and students students with disabilities Georgia’s SRCL plan entitled Literacy for Learning Living and Leading in in in in Georgia Georgia (L4GA)
will allow systems/agencies/organizations to to to to build partnerships that engage communities and and and schools together to to to to strengthen student learning and and and establish and and and train teachers to to to to implement new evidence-based practices with the ultimate goal that upon graduation all students will be college and career ready FUNDING INFORMATION

All LEAs in in in Georgia are are eligible to apply for for L4GA funding The following
are are the Absolute Priorities for for Georgia’s LEA Partnerships:
1 Each LEA-Partnership must include include a a a a a a a a feeder system that includes at at at least one early education center (e g Headstart Headstart Early Headstart Headstart Quality Rated (QR) child care (or a a a a a a a a a a a QR QR applicant) and/or Georgia’s PreK) a a a a a a a community partner organization and and schools serving students from

Each LEA-Partnership must allocate funds according to to the following: 15% to to serve students from
