This account simply attempts to offer an overview and summery of the beginnings of the

colony and the lives of its colonists from a Spiritual vantage point. The future endeavors of
these groups and of those notable individuals among them, will make lasting contributions to
their growing colony, state and nation soon to be formed. But it is important to note that

these contributions will be shaped by the Faith and ethics that they brought with them to this
country. It is but one of the stories about the founding of our country that demonstrates in

what Spirit our Christian forefathers, in the best ways at their disposal, founded and
cultivated the beginnings of The United states that we know today. Therefore this is a story
that is important for the Christian community in America to remember, document, and teach

                                                                     to their posterity.

My people, hear my instruction; listen to the words from my mouth.
I will declare wise sayings; I will speak mysteries from the past ,
things we have heard and known and that our fathers have passed down to us.
We will not hide them from their children, but will tell a future generation the
praiseworthy acts of the Lord, his might, and the wondrous works he has performed.

                                                                       Psalm 78: 1-4

A People who take no pride in the noble achievements
of remote ancestors will never achieve anything worthy
to be remembered with pride by remote descendants.

                                                                  Thomas B. Macaulay
