It is important for Husbands to emphasize the role of the Holy Spirit as a teacher, guide and counselor on the word of God to their wives. The Spirit of God aids meditation on the word and helps to build knowledge and understanding of the truth as well as the capacity to walk in obedience to the word. Psalm 119:15-16 says,
I will meditate in thy precepts, and have respect unto thy ways. I will delight myself in thy statutes: I will not forget thy word.

Give me understanding, and I shall keep thy law; yea, I shall observe it with my whole heart.

Isaiah 11:2-3 shows us what the Holy Spirit is capable of accomplishing in our lives, if we give Him the chance.
And the spirit of the Lord shall rest upon him, the spirit of wisdom and understanding, the spirit of counsel and might, the spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the Lord; and shall make him of quick understanding in the fear of the Lord: and he shall not judge after the sight of his eyes, neither
