and commit themselves to the word of God. That is the provision that God had made for us to be cleansed. Psalm 119:9 says,
How can a young man cleanse his way? By taking heed according to Your word.
Psalm 119:9 They must give attention to the word of God and ensure
that it fills their hearts so as to keep sin at bay and in check. Psalm 119:11 also says,
Your word I have hidden in my heart, that I might not sin against You.

4. SUSTAINED CRY FOR A NEW HEART AND GREATER MEASURE OF THE HOLY SPIRIT IS REQUIRED. We saw that David cried out to God to create in Him a new heart and to sustain the Holy Spirit within him in Psalm 51-10-12 outlined earlier. In Ezekiel 36:26-27, God also addressed this twin requirements for the restoration of His people back to a credible walk with Him.
