Then she said, “Let me find favor in your sight, my lord; for you have comforted me, and have spoken kindly to your maidservant, though I am not like one of your maidservants.”

In addition, we must ensure that we do everything to comfort our wives always. When we ensure her comfort, we show her that we cherish her. The Lord showed that in Isaiah 51:3,
For the Lord will comfort Zion, He will comfort all her waste places; He will make her wilderness like Eden, and her desert like the garden of the Lord; Joy and gladness will be found in it, thanksgiving and the voice of melody.

In practical terms Jesus ensured that by making sure that His disciples were well provided for. We are no told that they lacked anything during their walk with Him. They never went begging or borrowing. They just had everything at their disposal. Whenever a need appeared, Jesus was present to address it. Whether it was a storm threatening their safety on a journey in a boat or it was inadequacy of food to feed the thousands, Jesus always stood up to the plate to address the issue. They dwelt in great comfort.
