The Man In Love
But as it is written: “Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, nor have entered into the heart of man the things which God has prepared for those who love Him.”
1 Corinthians 2:9
In every way that one considers how Christ loved His disciples and the church, it must be clear that beneficiaries of His love have been empowered beyond their expectations. Nothing compares to such love and nothing will ever compare with it. Love that brings us into the kingdom of God, makes us sons of God and joint heirs with Christ, assures us a throne in heaven, and confers practical dominion over all things on the earth. Truly God prepared things that we find very difficult to comprehend for those who love Him. In return, and in appreciation of such a dimension of love, our gesture of love to our wives must not be predictable. It must seek to improve continually, to break out in new frontiers and also seek to grow with each opportunity that we get. Love that empowered beyond expectations must be the experience of our wives as well so that we are truly in line with the attributes of Christ love in our marriage.
