THE HEAD AND THE BODY
The scriptures variously use the relationship between the human head and the body to illustrate the nature of the love relationship between the husband and his wife. We want to explore this relationship here to enable us further appreciate how to ensure that husband and wives fulfill their God-ordained purpose in their marriage.
Husband Is The Head Of The Wife
For the husband is head of the wife, as also Christ is head of the church; and He is the Savior of the body. Therefore, just as the church is subject to Christ, so let the wives be to their own husbands in everything.
Ephesians 5:23-24
