their love walk. There must be no place where husbands insist on having their way in their relationship with their wives not minding what the position of the wife is. Husbands must be deliberate about yielding to sacrifice and allowing their wives to have their way or enjoy a special treatment as a matter of course in their relationship.
It is useful to see the extent to which Jesus went in terms of sacrifice all so that we would be reconciled to God. In Isaiah 53:2- 11 we will appreciate the treatment to which a God was subjected so that man can have access to eternal life. We are not talking of a man that was contracted to come and die for man but we are talking of a God who was before Abraham. We are talking about Jesus who was there when man himself was created. He was a part of the decision to make man in God’s image and likeness. It is a forgone conclusion that no man will ever accept this kind of treatment if he was in a similar position with Jesus.
For He shall grow up before Him as a tender plant, and as a root out of dry ground. He has no form or comeliness; and when we see Him, there is no beauty that we should desire Him.
