THE LIFE OF SACRIFICE
In this chapter, we examine yet another very important dimension of the man in love. The discussion in this book will not be complete without discussing in some detail the place of sacrifice in the love relationship between a husband and his wife. The exposition of Paul on what is the make up of love in 1 Corinthians 13:4-7 us also in the direction of sacrifice. That scripture reads:
Love suffers long and is kind; love does not envy; love does not parade itself, is not puffed up; does not behave rudely, does not seek its own, is not provoked, thinks no evil; does not rejoice in iniquity, but rejoices in the truth; bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. Love never fails. .......
