The Man In Love
expected us to seek not our own interests but the interests of our wives. If we take heed to meditate on the nature of the sacrifice of Jesus for us to have access to the privileges we have today in Him, and we can truly appreciate the quality of that sacrifice, we will be quick to turn to God in repentance, obtain new grace and commit ourselves to live lives of sacrificial love toward our wives. Any husband who truly encounters the ‘light’ of the nature of Jesus’ sacrifice for us His church, must be turned into another man with the help of the Holy Spirit. His wife will soon notice a remarkable but positive change in his love toward her.
Let This Mind Be In You
Let this mind be in you which was also in Christ Jesus, who, being in the form of God, did not consider it robbery to be equal with God, but made Himself of no reputation, taking the form of a bondservant, and coming in the likeness of men. And being found in appearance as a man, He humbled Himself and became obedient to the point of death, even the death of the cross.
Philippians 2:5-8
