The Man In Love
Love Determines The Wife You Get
For husbands, this means love your wives, just as Christ loved the church. He gave up his life for her to make her holy and clean, washed by the cleansing of God’s word. He did this to present her to himself as a glorious church without a spot or wrinkle or any other blemish. Instead, she will be holy and without fault.
Ephesians 5:25-27 NLT
We understand that Christ loved the church in order to present her to Himself as a glorious church, holy and without fault. From this scripture, love is identified as the main ingredient that a husband is directed to ‘use’ on his wife to bring forth her glory and to make her holy and without fault. The glorious wife is therefore, the product of the love walk of her husband. The glory of the wife that a husband presents to himself will be determined by the quality of love he showers upon her. No husband therefore, has a right to complain about the wife that he has because he gets what the quality of his love toward her produced.
Furthermore, the love of the husband is enough to produce for him the exact kind of wife that he desires. Love is given as the only ingredient to produce the glorious church, holy and without fault that Jesus desires. The same applies to the glory of the wife
