The Man In Love
remains. He provided us that empowerment as verse 18 reveals to exercise dominion authority on earth. He said that every command that we utter here on earth in any situation, the authority in heaven would back it up and enforce it here. Therefore, although He has gone to the Father, He continues to watch out for us with readiness to support us with requisite power to rule and reign here on the earth. The word says that He is seated in heaven on the right hand of the Father making intercession for us.
Who is he who condemns? It is Christ who died, and furthermore is also risen, who is even at the right hand of God, who also makes intercession for us. Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword?
Romans 8:34-35
The acknowledgement that Christ’s gesture of continuing to intercede for us at the right hand of the Father, is love, is actually reflected in verse 35 where Paul asks what could possibly separate us from this wonderful show of love. He meant that the love was too much of a privilege for anyone to lose. Such should be the love we show to our wives, such that they would hold onto dearly.
