Penny Arcade's Mike Krahulik painted these in acrylics on canvas way back in 2008, but
their lively, energetic subjects and bright color palettes give them a timeless quality that
sets them apart from other games-oriented works. Samus, as represented here, is as
much the star of her own Saturday-morning cartoon show as she is the alien-
exterminating bounty hunter at the center of the Metroid series; Pac-Man, by contrast, is
a red-eyed maniac terrorizing Pinky, Inky and Clyde, the remains of Blinky still tumbling
from his gaping maw. Both works are signed "MK" and arrive unframed but display-ready.
