* JANUARY 2017: Knowing that I would have to limit travel and
performing, Ron Keel Band signed with David Ellefson’s EMP Label
Group and chose to spend most of 2017 writing and creating new
music.
* SUMMER 2017: Shows with Tesla in South Dakota and Minnesota,
headline shows at the Sturgis Rally and Hot Harley Nights, and
casinos/fairs/festivals in the Midwest so I could stay close to home
while caring for Renee.
* APRIL 2018: Recording begins on the new album “Fight Like A Band” –
11 new original songs plus new versions of the 80’s Keel hits “The Right
To Rock” and “Tears Of Fire.”
* FEBRUARY 2019: Ron Keel Band celebrates the release of “Fight Like A
Band” with a headline show at Grand Falls Casino in Larchwood, Iowa.
