“As I see it, we could already now, with the evidence we have gathered,

ask the German intelligence to arrest both Gustav and Claire, and both
intelligence services, should interrogate them. Have I have misunderstood

                   something?“

Bjørn shakes his head while striking out defensively with his hand in the
                   air.

"No, you haven’t misunderstood anything. On paper, we could go to Ger-

many and get started immediately… it's just that Gustav Kräsen is on his way to
India right this moment. You could say that he’s relocating his business. By now

he has already left Germany, probably sitting with GT and a big smile on that
                   mousy moustache face of his.”

He gives Tom a minute to let first information sink in, as he looks at him with

                   total confusion.
“We should not expect any good cooperation with the authorities in India.

Nor Germany for that matter, since they’ve let him go so easily. He was protected

by them for fuck sake!” Tom, looking wide-eyed, exclaims.
“We must be able to do something. We can’t let him go like that.”

Bjørn answers. "The latest intelligence that has ticked in today all says the
same. That KRÄSEN is in the process of building a large Indian branch of the

company, relocating most of the business there. Gustav Kräsen has ordered a

large number of cargo flights to fly out of Germany. All this information is of
course verified, as well as top secret, but that goes without saying.”

“That cargo contains his private art collection, no doubt,” answers Tom.

"Yes it is reasonably safe to assume that,” says Bjørn and continues.
“It’s going to be extremely difficult to make a case against him now, let alone

doing research and investigation, in the nontransparent and cryptic land of India.

Even with the evidence we have against him, he have somehow manipulated the
whole German authority apparatus, which obviously wants to protect of the

country’s biggest investors as well being one of the biggest firms. They have no

                   desire to see Kräsen fall.”
Bjørn gets up, goes to the window, opens it and lights a cigarette. "The

case is crumbling before our very eyes. As it is now, we can only hope for a
miracle. I can not see how we should approach this in such a short timeframe.”
