Narrator: It’s time for art class. Pinocchio and his friends are drawing.

Alan: Do you have a marker?
Pinocchio: Marker? No, I don’t.
Wendy: I have a box of markers, Alan. What color do you need?
Alan: I need blue.
Wendy: Here you are.

Pinocchio: They’re beautiful markers.
Emma: Can you draw, Pinocchio?
Pinocchio: No, I can’t. Emma, I like your drawing. It’s beautiful. I wish I could

draw, too.
Emma: Everyone can draw. You can try with my markers.
Pinocchio: Thank you.
Ken: What are you drawing, Pinocchio?
Pinocchio: I’m drawing a dog.

Ken: It looks nice. Do you have a dog?
Pinocchio: Yes, I do. I have a cute dog. It was a gift from my father. It’s
orange and white.

Chorus: (sing the song on p. 68)
Where's he? Where's he?
He's in the bedroom.
Have a seat.

Do you have a dog?
Yes, I do.
Yes, I do. I have a dog.
Narrator: Suddenly, Pinocchio’s nose gets longer because he is lying.

Pinocchio: Oh, no! My nose!
Emma: What happened? Are you OK?
Pinocchio: I’m sorry. I don’t have a dog. I don’t have any pets at home.
Narrator: After Pinocchio tells the truth, his nose goes back to normal.
