instrumental in DPS Paradip Refinery being today considered as one of the
leading schools in Odisha .

Dr Dhananjoy Pan, Principal DPS Paradip Refinery Paradip, has been conferred with the prestigious
CBSE Teachers Award 2019-20 under the category of Principals. The Central Board of Secondary

Education (CBSE) conducted the National CBSE Teachers Award 2019-20 function virtually on

Wednesday, 9 September 2020. The award function was streamed live at 1 pm on various social media

platforms from the conference room in Shastri Bhawan, New Delhi. CBSE felicitated 39 teachers/

principals across the country, to recognize their contribution to the field of education. The

Honourable Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank was the Chief Guest of the programme

and he conferred the awards to the awardees. A short film on the Awardee Teachers and their work was

also shown during the virtual function.

Dr Dhananjoy Pan is the only Principal from Odisha and also from all DPSs across the country to get

this prestigious award this year. The award was conferred on Principal, Dr Dhananjoy Pan by the
CBSE for his remarkable contribution in the field of Education. It is under his leadership that DPS

Paradip Refinery has made its mark both nationally and internationally with a series of awards and

brilliant CBSE Board exam results.

Dr Dhananjoy Pan who is one of the most experienced Principals of DPSS having being the Principal of

various schools before joining DPS Paradip Refinery in 2015, dedicated this prestigious award to his

Dipsites, Teachers, Parents, School Management and his family who have reposed trust and faith in

leading DPS Paradip Refinery, which was inaugurated only in 2014, into one of the well known schools of

India . DPS is extremely proud to share with all our stakeholders that Dr Dhananjoy Pan has earned this
prestigious award for his unparalleled contributions to the teaching community. We at DPS PR are
