…who do you think you are?
Silly question? Not really. What you may be presently identifying as
being ‘yourself’ – that is, to use another word, your Ego - is actually
nothing more than an abstract idea; an intellectual construct. If you were
to ask most people where their egotistical centre is situated - where they
live - they'd say, “Well, it’s somewhere behind my eyes, and between my
ears. That's me, that's where the great I Am lives… at the top of the bag
of skin that includes my heart, my lungs, my gut, and the rest of my
individual physical existence. I, the Ego, possesses these organs, but they
are not me, though they belong to me.” So, the first stage of an
integrated view of life is to accept that you are not just mind, but also
the matter of which you are composed.
But you can't just leave it at that, because matter, your matter, needs
certain conditions in order to exist. It needs a limited range of
temperature, oxygen, water and, of course, food. This is bound to lead
inevitably to the conclusion that you are in fact the sum, the totality, not
only of your individual mind and body, but also of the planet as a whole..
To achieve this totally mind-blowing insight is to realise that you, as Ego,
are nothing but an hallucination. In reality, the Ego simply doesn't exist!
The Unitive® approach to life coaching is unique, in that it reconnects
you to your fundamental wholeness and to your authentic being – to the
profound and lasting inner life that is your birthright. As such, it
represents a really radical departure from the general run of so-called
‘training’ approaches that exploit the will o’ the wisp illusion that
everyone – anyone! - can achieve what passes for materialistic success
in today's anxious and competitive world. Unitive® coaching works
toward attaining a level of personal awareness that sees the whole as
being greater than the sum of its parts. By establishing a non-directive,
non-judgemental and safe accepting ambience with an experienced and
professional coach who has personally gone through the same process,
you become aware of both sides of the so-called ‘problems’ in your life:
