Why?
These androgogical principles are entrenched within the TPACK, a framework for
understanding the kinds of technological, pedagogical, and content knowledge applied
by teachers in a digital learning environment. Learning is not about the technology, but more about
learning with and through the technology. Pedagogical knowledge focusses on using strategies for
including digital learning pedagogies in classroom activities. The Content knowledge is essential
subject content knowledge required for teaching and learning. Through the nine events of Instruction,
the instructional design of courses positions a task or scenario at the centre of the learning process
and then scaffolds the digital skills needed to complete the task/scenario.
