THE END OF THE FIRST SEMESTER
1. REVIEW AND DISCUSSION
A. Progress Review (Peninjauan Kemajuan)
In this session, teacher should revise the progress of the students:
Teacher revises each topic of expressions by giving the students time to scan
all kinds of expression.
Teacher revises all kinds of expression by telling the students the use of each
expression.
Teacher revises all kinds of expression by starting to use the expressions one
by one in simple sentences.
Teacher revises all kinds of expression by asking the students to do what the
teacher has done.
Teacher revises all kinds of expression by “hearing and repeating” what the
teacher said about the expressions.
Note: Teacher should improve his/her own way in getting the students’
progress.
B. Performance Review (Pemeriksaan Prestasi)
In this session, teacher should revise the students’ performance:
Teacher should revise all kinds of expression that the students use in their
communication or interaction.
Teacher should revise all kinds of expression by referring to all class and
home assignments given due to the first to the last meeting.
Teacher should take assignment in order to know which students who have
not understood yet how to use those expressions.
Teacher should take notes for the poor students.
Note: Teacher should be able to be a good consultant for each problem of the
students then give solutions needed.
C. Discussion (diskusi)
In this session, teacher should set time aside to have any discussion deal with
the problems found before:
Teacher gets the poor students to have any discussion concerning to the
topics of expression.
Teacher should ask the students regarding to what they have not
understood yet in using the expressions.
Teacher should get them to speak out.
Teacher should figure out some problems.
Teacher should discuss the problems with the students.
Teacher should give the students courage to speak, speak, and speak.
Note: Teacher should sometimes use some expressions in the discussion to see
whether they are able to respond or not to the expressions used.
