Originating from poetry and spoken word, Pea McGee, has become one of the most recognized and
respected female hip hop artist and songwriters' in her hometown. Born and raised in Long Beach Ca., Pea
has had the opportunity to make her presence felt in her city, not just on social media but in the community
as well. In the summer of 2017, Pea McGee partnered up with Delic Skateboards and The Prodigy Music
Group, to release a limited edition BeachMcgee 420 skateboard, featuring a 420 inspired calendar, exclusive
EP, and project documentary, set to debut in the Spring of 2018. Along with her Skateboard project, McGee
will also be releasing an LP showcasing her lyrical and melodic abilities over a variety of genres, in the fall of
2018. This project will be one of Pea's first steps into the phases of solo progression in her music career.
Needless to say there will be a ton of new work to look forward to from the talented songwriter altogether. In
2015, Pea McGee's involvement in the LBC Movement lead to her becoming one third of the hip hop group,
Ladies of Beach City, along side Jazie2x and Cstarr. Ladies of Beach City are an all-female rap group signed
to Snoop Dogg’s Doggystyle label. Generating millions of views and streams combined, the ladies helped put
the new mass movement of the city of Long Beach in motion! Earlier this year, Ladies of Beach City released
a self titled debut album featuring the single 'Beach City Rollin’, a huge G-Funk revival track from the Long
Beach natives featuring Snoop Dogg. If this wasn't groundbreaking enough, a Ladies of Beach City movie
was then released in the summer. Filming the movie, Pea McGee and the ladies had a chance to work with
the accomplished record producer, Dj Pooh, who wrote directed and produced the westcoast blockbuster,
The Wash with Snoop Dogg and Dr Dre, and co wrote Friday and Last Friday with Ice Cube. Pea McGee has
begun to take her city by storm with her witty lyrics and charming sex appeal, and will be displaying her
multiple talents in her upcoming solo projects. In late April of 2018, Pea McGee and Delic Skateboards plan
to release the limited edition Beachmcgee 420 skateboard along with McGee's EP, calendar and
documentary. In the works with The Prodigy Music Group, this is one highly anticipated project you don't
want to miss out on. Be sure to stay on the look out for all the upcoming work from Pea McGee and the
amazing collaborations she has to offer! It's apparent that this is just the tip of the iceberg for Miss McGee's
career, and she has so much more to offer in the near and far future!
