RECENT PROJECTS
1003 Konica Drive, Elkton, MD: Currently under construction, Bernardon provided design services for a
speculative rear-load warehouse and distribution center of 263,500 SF. The building has site-cast load-bearing
concrete wall panels and a conventional steel frame. The roof is a single membrane on rigid insulation on metal
deck. This is the second building for this developer in the business park.
1480 United Drive, Shippensburg, PA: This will be the third building Bernardon has designed at United
Business Park. The project consists of a cross-dock warehouse building of 1,083,000 SF. The building will have
conventional spread footings, precast concrete load-bearing panels, and 40-foot clear height.
9 Gateway Boulevard, Pedricktown, NJ: The project entailed the design of a 213,900 SF speculative warehouse
building. Bernardon also provided interior fit-out design services for the full building user.
Abingdon Business Park, Harford County, MD: The project consists of four (4) freestanding warehouses
totaling 2,064,800 square feet. Building 1 is a cross-dock warehouse building of approximately 1,008,000 square
feet. Building 2 is characterized as a 606,480 square foot cross-dock warehouse. Buildings 3A and Building 3B
will be front-load warehouse buildings configured along a shared truck court and are 301,600 square feet and
148,720 square feet respectively. The buildings will be designed to have one (1) to four (4) corner entrances.
Cold Storage Warehouse, Oldmans Township, NJ: The project is a cold storage warehouse consisting of
583,550 SF of warehouse and 20,000 SF of office and support space when fully constructed. Phase 1 was
recently completed which is comprised of 103,000 SF. The exterior of the building is insulated metal wall panels.
Dermody East Boundary Avenue Warehouse, Morristown, NJ: The project consists of a front-loaded
warehouse building of approximately 343,000 square feet. Clear height will be up to 40 feet as measured at
the first column in from the loading dock. The building will have conventional spread footings, precast concrete,
loadbearing wall panels, and conventional steel frame. The roof will be a black EPDM membrane on rigid
insulation on metal deck.
Duke Marcus Hook, Marcus Hook, PA: Currently under construction, the project entails a 399,840 SF cross-
dock warehouse building constructed with precast concrete load-bearing panels. There will be two matching
entry features designed into the façade of the building at the northeast and northwest corners. The site is directly
adjacent to the main residential area of Marcus Hook; as such, the design must take great care to complement
the aesthetic of the surrounding community.
I-81 Logistics Park Buildings 1 and 2, Antrim Township, PA: The project consisted of two warehouse
buildings. Building 1 is rear-loaded and approximately 403,200 SF. Building 2 is a cross-dock warehouse of
approximately 550,000 SF. The buildings have conventional spread footings and precast concrete load-bearing
panels. The buildings were recently completed.
