Pedestrian Scale
The proposed wayfinding for the pedestrian is designed to supplement the systems already implemented within the downtown. With key attractions clearly labeled already, the main objective of the proposed
wayfinding is to direct persons from key intersections towards key attractions via District Wayfinding Posts.
District Wayfinding Posts at main intersections across the downtown district provide, at key intersections, direction to important locations such as Delaware State University, Museums, Governmental
Buildings and Parks.
Point-of-Interest QR-code Posts provide access to online materials for key attractions, guided tours, commentary, etc.
Point-of-Interest Plaques replacing key attraction signage creates a uniform and easily discernible framework for visitors to understand.
