Design Statement: Currently in design, 4601 Market Street
is envisioned to be a six (6) building development with a total
of approximately 1,200 units. Five (5) of the six (6) buildings
will be constructed as a “5 over 2,” with five (5) stories of
Type III wood-frame construction, being constructed over
two (2) stories of non-combustible construction.
The remaining building, currently labeled as Building “2D”
may be a taller building than seven (7) stories, but that deci-
sion will be made during at the completion of the conceptual
design process.
