The Boyd Theater

Location: Bethlehem, Pennsylvania
Design Statement: This exciting project in the Lehigh
Valley involves the second redevelopment of a major
artistic venue in the valley. The mixed-use project will
include 204 apartments and commercial spaces, with
key elements of the theater’s original equipment and
marketing materials being incorporated into the design
including the integration of the Boyd sign.
Bernardon’s proposed design grasps the industrial feel of
the downtown area with a traditional flair that will spur
the reinvigoration and reinvention of the West Broad
Street corridor of downtown Bethlehem.
