Design Statement: Bernardon is providing design services
for a proposed mixed use development at a suburban mall.
The site hosts an outstanding location for this development,
sharing a site with a Whole Foods Market and located in
proximity to high-end shopping, a county library, and public
transportation.
The 204 unit, 636,600 SF project introduces the density of
a residential pedestrian population, bringing additional
vitality to the hub of the community. The project implements
vernacular materials of the agrarian surroundings, including
stone and wide plank wood siding, through a soft modern
composition.
