Design Statement: Bernardon provided planning services
for a new mixed-use development on a 72-acre parcel to
foster redevelopment, re-imagination, and growth at the
Exton Square Mall.
The proposed plan focuses on retaining several existing
anchor tenants and providing opportunities for new
residential products such as senior housing, market-rate
apartments, and for-sale homes as well as attracting office,
life sciences, hotel, retail, and hospitality tenants. Buildings
will be oriented so that people feel as if they are in a
downtown urban setting with dedicated open space.
