Design Statement: Bernardon is providing architectural
design services for a new mixed-use building and parking
garage that is part of the third phase of redevelopment at
the Willow Grove Shopping Center.

The new mixed-use building will include five (5) residential
levels of wood-framed type IIIA construction over one (1)
level of type 1A non-combustible podium construction. The One exciting aspect of the project is the walk-up two-story
residential portion of the project will include approximately “townhome” apartments planned along Park Avenue. These
10,000 SF of amenity space, an outdoor amenity courtyard, “townhome” apartments not only provide residents with
and a mix of studio, one-bedroom, and two-bedroom a unique living experience but also help to break down the
residential units, with 261 units. overall massing of the building, reducing its perceived scale
along the public streetscape.
