7. ACTIVITY 5: ROLEPLAY

Now, you are going to have a role play in the form of a talk show. Here is the
procedure.
a. The role play will be done in groups and each group will consist of four students.
One class may have two up to four groups who will perform the talk show.
b. The four students in one group will act as the following characters.
- Student A as the talk show host.
- Student B as a beggar.
- Student C as someone who is concerned with beggars’ condition.
- Student D as someone who disagrees with the existence of beggars.
c. The rest will take a role as audience who can question the speakers.
d. The host provides some questions prior to the talk show performance. Make sure
that the questions enable the speakers to practice on how to give reasons and to
state whether they agree or disagree with other speakers.
