Dough was over-baked.
Always under-bake if you’re unsure.
Chewy cookies
Possible causes and solutions:
Too much sugar or liquid in the cookies.
Add a little extra flour or bake for a little longer.
Crumbly cookies
Possible causes and solutions:
Too much flour added and the cookie dough requires more fat.
Reduce the amount of flour by 1–2 Tbsp and add 1–2 extra Tbsp of butter (or whatever fat
your mixture uses).
