             Spicy lamb meatballs with cranberry, yoghurt and herbs


             Serves 8 | Preparation time: 45 minutes | Cooking time: 90 minutes


             What you’ll need:



             Ingredients



             For the meatballs

             900g minced lamb, (shoulder of lamb is the best)

             2 large onions, finely chopped
             4 garlic cloves, crushed
             70g dried cranberries, roughly chopped
             30g flat leaf parsley, roughly chopped
             1 large free range egg
             1 Tbsp (15ml) ground allspice
             1 Tbsp (15ml) ground cinnamon
             1 Tbsp (15ml) Maldon sea salt

             Freshly ground black pepper
             Sunflower oil, for frying
             800g baby onions or shallots, peeled
             1 cup (250ml) white wine
             2 cups (500ml) chicken stock
             2 Tbsp (30ml) sugar
