                                                                                                                                   I would love to recommend the general public to live their lives not

                                                                                                                                   discouraging but encouraging the patients. I would advice the pa-

                                                                                                                                   tients to have a daily balanced diet. This will help your body process

                                                                                                                                   the strong medicine well rather than being infected. Also, ketogenic

                                                                                                                                   diet will help the children suffering from epilepsy by making their

                                                                                                                                   brain active hence reducing their seizures attacks.

        Epilepsy is a very common disease. Actually, in Kenya, out of every

        one hundred people, you can find at least two living with epilepsy.

        A person can have epilepsy but never be epileptic. Any living

        creature can suffer from epilepsy; animals too can suffer from

        epilepsy. Not all with seizure attacks are patients suffering from

        epilepsy but all patients suffering from epilepsy have seizure

        attacks. Seizures can be triggered by almost anything; (e.g.: Heat,

        stress, alcohol, hormonal imbalances etc.) depending with the

        individual.




        In lay man’s language, epilepsy is the tendency to have repeated

        seizures without any cause whereas seizures are brain knock-outs

        due to a particular reason. To be treated, one suffering from
