                                                                                                                                   in a day and come from different foods.


                                                                                                                                   The balanced diet helps the brain to function well helping us to stay

                                                                                                                                   healthy .This may help reduce the risk of seizures for some people

                                                                                                                                   with epilepsy





































                                                                                                                                   Eating foods which release energy levels slowly and steadily help

                                                                                                                                   you feel full for longer, and often provide more fiber than foods
                                                                                                                                   which release energy quickly.

                                                                                                                                   Some AEDs e.g. phenytoin, carbamazepine and phenobarbital
                                                                                                                                   can cause a deficiency of folic acid by interfering with the way its

                                                                                                                                   absorbed; daily supplement of folic acid for women in the child
                                                                                                                                   bearing ages is recommended
